Full-time professor and researcher at Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México School of Law (UAEMex), visiting professor at Universitat de Girona (UdG) and tenured professor of Philosophy of Law at UNAM School of Law.

PhD in law with honors from the Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas (IIJ) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Master in Legal Reasoning with honors from the Universities of Girona and Genova. Certificate in transnational legal studies from the Center for Transnational Legal Studies (CTLS) in London. Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), level I, of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) of Mexico. 

His main lines of research are legal epistemology, evidential reasoning, and theory and philosophy of law.
