Reader in Evidence Law and Philosophy at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London. She joined the School in 2018 after holding a lectureship in law at Brunel University. Liat was awarded her Phd from the University of Cambridge and her LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (magna cum laude).

She held a post-doctorate position at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich; and she has been a visiting fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and the Law, Freiburg, Germany.
