Justice Alex Stein joined Israel’s Supreme Court in 2018 after a long academic career, during which he held professorial appointments at the Hebrew University, Cardozo and Brooklyn Law School and taught as a visiting professor at Harvard, Yale and Columbia Law Schools, among others.

He authored and edited four books in the Evidence area and published over eighty articles, many of which have appeared in the world’s leading journals that include Harvard Law Review, Columbia Law Review, and Oxford Journal of Legal Studies.
