González Lagier, Daniel

Universidad de Alicante, Spain

Professor of Philosophy of Law at the University of Alicante, where he studied Law and obtained his PhD. He is a professor in the Master's Degree in Legal Argumentation at the University of Alicante and in the Master's Degree in Evidential Reasoning at the University of Girona and a fellow researcher in the Càtedra de Cultura Jurídica (University of Girona). Also, he is secretary of the journal Doxa: Cuadernos de Filosofía del Derecho. He has given courses and lectures at numerous universities and training centers for judges, public defenders, lawyers, etc. in Europe and Latin America.

Author of Acción y norma en G.H. von Wright (1995), G.H. von Wright y los conceptos básicos del Derecho (2001), Las paradojas de la acción (2001), Quaestio Facti (Vol. I): Ensayos sobre prueba, causalidad y acción (2005), Emociones, responsabilidad y Derecho (2009), A la sombra de Hume: Un balance crítico del intento de la neuroética de fundamentar la moral (2018), Emociones sin sentimentalismo: sobre las emociones y las decisiones judiciales (2020), Quaestio Facti (Vol. II): Nuevos ensayos sobre prueba y filosofía (2022), as well as other collaborative books and articles published in specialized journals.
