Horvitz, María Inés

Professor of Criminal law and Criminal procedural law at the University of Chile School of Law. She holds a law degree from the University of Chile and a PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain).

She played a central role in the reform of the Chilean criminal justice system and has published over one hundred papers, articles, and book chapters on criminal law, criminal procedural law, and penitentiary law.
