Professor of Law at Swansea University, United Kingdom. She is the author of Fairness in International Criminal Trials (Oxford University Press, 2016) and Proving International Crimes (Oxford University Press, forthcoming 2023). She was, from 2018-2021, Principal Investigator on OSR4Rights, a multi-disciplinary project that examined how open-source research has transformed the landscape of human rights fact-finding, funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council. She is currently Principal Investigator on the TRUE project, a £1.2 million project funded by UK Research and Innovation (originally selected for funding by the European Research Council), which examines the impact of the rise of deepfakes on trust in user-generated evidence of human rights violations.
